Testimonial
"Dear April,
We would be happy to recommend your class to anyone.
Had we not attended, we would have never believed
that one day could make such a difference. Our wonderful,
boisterous rescue pup is as happy as ever - but now
that we have learned how to deal with jumping up and
jumping on and dragging us on leash, we are much happier
too. It was not just a
seminar in "training", but rather one in
thinking clearly about a problem something we could
use more of in life in general. So thank you for your
wisdom, your keen eye, and your obvious concern that
all creatures great and small deserve respect.
Sincerely,
Jack"

Classes for Dogs
PET MASSAGE CLASS
Learning how to do massage work on your dog will deepen
and enhance your
relationship with them.
Massage work benefits both you and your dog. It will help
you to become more centered, focused and aware of your own
body, breath and emotions, as well as your dogs. You can
attain a different way of bonding and communicating through
touch.
For dogs and cats, it helps to release current as well
as past physical and emotional trauma from cells in the
body. Emotional cellular memories are stored in different
parts of the body. Massage can be used to desensitize dogs
that have issues with being touched on different parts of
their body such as ears, nails, paws, tails, etc. April
has worked with several clients whose dogs required being
routinely being put under anesthesia to have their nails
trimmed. The people can now do it themselves avoiding the
stress and trauma for the dog as well as the financial cost
and risk of anesthesia
Massage helps speed recovery from accidents and illness
and surgery. It helps ease pain from arthritis, and can
slow down the process of spinal mylopathy promoting better
circulation and muscle tone.
Massage performed on dogs both before and after competition
helps
prevent injuries in animal athletes
Massage helps promote a sense of well being and bonding
with humans, especially valuable with rescue animals.
April will teach you simple,
easy to use and understand massage
techniques. You will also learn some of the major acupressure
points and how to use them correctly, as well as how energy
flows through the body.
