"Hello April,

I felt the need to write, and to communicate a couple of things to
you. The first, is to reiterate to you how much I have come to appreciate your guidance and insight, and how even in a short time, you helped me to feel comfortable with my perceptions, and more confident in my ability to communicate with my friends. It has
deepened my life experience. Another note, is that Shandy is doing very very well, and is an important part of our family. She and Mitchie are best of friends. Please see the attached picture, which was taken not too long ago on a beautiful autumn day. Now, while we are embarking on early winter days, Looney is deep within her late winter days. She has been is a very good state, and had an excellent Thanksgiving, ate giblets as usual, crawled around under my parents bed, got to hang out with her favorite Uncle Dave " The cat guy", and my cousin Lisa who is the one that rescued her and
brought her to me 13 years ago. On Saturday, after everyone had gone,
she stopped taking food and water, while starting a short bout of loose bowels and vomiting. She's emptied out now, and will take a sip of water now and again, but I know that her time is here, and she is choosing the terms. So, we are just trying to keep her comfortable, as she is sleeping a lot, in her small bed, near a window where she can hear and see the birds at the feeders. With what little she has left,
she just purred when I stroked her, so as saddened as I am, I know that she is OK. She has had a profoundly positive effect on my life, the lives of my family, and numerous strangers and friends over the years. Of the many people that she has touched, only a few have been
able to recognize how truly special she is, and the spirit that she manifests. You were one of those few people, so I am asking a favor that you please pray, or concentrate some energy for her, to aid her in a peaceful journey.
