Glad to hear from you..was thinking about our class experience, your beautiful property and you (and your helpers)..Nikita, I'm happy to say is way better with the barking, doing well with hear to me and leave it (our cats) ..and with her doing better, Gus is following as well...we need
to continue to work on come and continue to socialize..we had a friend over and she did better with greetings and with a little coaching to our friend she behaved better with her too..our friend was even able to offer them both treats as they sat politely..I'm feeling more confident with her and after a few more "set ups" at home I think I'll feel better about getting her out to the public...AND amazingly, the kids are using
the correct language with her, even my little guy, Alec. Sometimes they
catch each other and correct each other..Thank you, you got through to the kids too..It's not all going to come together over night but our goal is to make enough progress so you'll see a happier Nikita when you see her in late July (and ultimately our whole family gets the big
benefit)It would be worth it to us if you could work on her training
while she's with you that week if you have the time then to do it.
Funny you mail me today, I was getting on my mail tonight specifically to mail you this pic of Nikita and my oldest, Katie watching Clifford the Big Red Dog show on PBS. (It's her favorite !!) Thanks for the follow up
Julie

Think Like A Dog - Part II

See Schedule (events) for next upcoming date.

Participation in the first Think Like A Dog class is a prerequisite for part two.

Part Two will teach:

Think Like A Dog Part Two will begin with a brief review of the things you learned in the first class, walking on lead without pulling, coming when called and sitting to ask for attention rather than jumping. There will not be a lecture but there will be time for questions.

Part Two will teach:

“Wait” used to stop forward motion. This is especially useful to prevent bolting through doors car, house, etc. and to stop them from continuing in any direction they are headed. It gives you brakes in emergency situations.

“Stay” to remain where you are.

“Down” to lie down and remain in that position.

Useful and Constructive “games ”. Demonstration and instruction of how to teach your dog useful things to do with you and for you. Retrieving, carrying things for you, finding things, and going to members of the family on request. These tasks keep them physically and mentally busy, prevent boredom and make them a contributing member of the family/pack.

We will also do more long line and distraction work to help you attain reliability on wait, coming when called and giving you part of their attention all of the time.

Please contact me by phone or email to register. Enrollment is limited.

I look forward to working with all of you again.

Enrollment Fee $125.

Enrollment is limited. Please be sure to indicate which class you are resistering for. You may call with credit card number or send check to:
